Global Communication

Global Communication
The advancement in technology has bridged the gap between the people and the world. This feat has made it possible for people to share their information, messages with one another and also offers them an opportunity to learn about different cultures. This "connection" of people or the sharing of information by the use of media like internet can be defined as the Global Communication. Global communication has allowed people to get closer to each other, and this is limited not only between families or friends but also in the worldwide business. Compared to the past ten years, global communication reached new heights through the improvement and use of advanced technology. As a result, Global Communication in turn has boosted technology, economic and cultural boundaries much more so than it has been in the past ten years.
In early ages, the sharing of information was limited to the use of post mail and it was a difficult task indeed to pass information. Information had to be carried over long distances over a course of a long period of time. Quick and immediate response was virtually non existent. However, in recent years, globalization has made it easy for people to communicate with the use of advanced technologies. Internet, phone, and satellite technology have contributed to this trend in global communication.
Global communication is not, however, a phase that just sprang to life immediately, it is a slow accumulation of the use of ideas and technologies throughout a course of time. This however would not be possible without the advancement of technology continually. In the past ten years, Global communication has been more efficient by the use of advanced technology like mobile, internet, computers and others and it is safe to say that it will progress much further with the improvement in these technologies. Global Communication has also helped the world and its people in learning about and problems that are rooted in it. For example, internet has been "the" common way that people tend to share their information, talk to each other and perform many other tasks . This technology has seemingly made the world "smaller" and easier to communicate.
A lack of such mode of communication will render business companies without a means to find even the most simplest of solutions to their issues and problems. Through Global Communication however, companies can now work together to sort out their problems and help them to be aware of their strategic advantages as well as their disadvantages. This has also helped businesses to boost their economy, together with the fact that companies around the world can work together to strive towards a common goal, with just a click of their button.
Culturally, Global Communication has played an important role in bridging the gap between people of various cultural and ethnic backgrounds, thereby sharing their cultures with people from all around the world. The use of internet and various resources that it provides, has in a way made it easier for people to stay connected, and access information about topics that would not be so easily accessible to them.
In conclusion, the world as it is now cannot be imagined without Global Communication. Can you imagine your life as it is now, if you were suddenly deprived of the use of internet and cell phones and even your computer for that instance? The continual research on technologies have paved way for its advancement and the world is much better off thanks to it. Global Communication has created a world where people can share their information talk to each other through various means. Thus it is probably safe to say that Global Communication has boosted technology, economic and cultural boundaries much broader than the past ten years.
